La Posada Hotel

Great hotel. We stayed there during Thanksgiving and enjoyed the service. Staff is also very nice and all were English speaking. Food service too was amazing.

The Laposada is located in the heart of the square in Downtown Laredo. We did not stay here but ate breakfast. The service very slow but I think they were short staffed. The breakfast itself was absolutely delicious. We had the traditional Mexican and it was outstanding. The hotel does look dated but I think that is part of its charm.

My first time in Laredo was spent staying here for a work conference. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Special shoutout to the bartenders Lexie and Lindsay. Every drink they made was just right and they made excellent suggestions. Also special shoutout to Juan, the valet driver that brought me to the airport. I can’t than the all enough to making sure I enjoyed my first trip to your beautiful city. 10/10 will be back!

The manager of housekeeping! I told him about an issue with mole on the shower and right away he brought me some bleach with soap to clean it up Also gave me a discount on my room. Very pleased every time I stay there.

This is a historic hotel right on the international border between USA and Mexico, it has a calming relaxing feel, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's a few minutes walk from the border and from the outlet mall and duty free shopping, there's a public square right in front, a museum down the street and not a lot of food options in the area. The hotel has a restaurant onsite offering Texas/Mexican flare which we didn't care for but for a fee the kitchen made us something we liked. Very few of the locals speak English so be prepared with a little Spanish in other to communicate. The hotel is located in the downtown area which seems to be locked in a time capsule of the early 70's, lots of old unoccupied buildings that's why I gave 4 stars for location. But other than that it's clean, good water current, hot water, responsive staff. I don't plan to visit Laredo again but if I do, I would stay at La Posada again.

Perfect location to stay at if you are walking across the border. Mexico is pnly a few meters from there. They also offer parking lot (at a fair cost) if you need a safe parking lot when going across the border. Perfect location to stay, clean rooms, awesome friendly staff.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel during the Laredo Bird Festival from February 4 to February 8th. The hotel boasts at least three pools, including a heated one. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a fridge and microwave. I arrived by flight from Laredo Airport, and the hotel offers convenient free shuttle services for pickups and drop-offs, which is a great service. Laredo Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive from the hotel. During the bird festival, the hotel provides an early morning buffet breakfast, featuring pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Additionally, there’s a buffet breakfast available starting at 6:30 am for guests who aren’t attending the bird festival.

Karina the manager at La Posada Hotel is absolutely amazing! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with genuine hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the attention to detail is unmatched. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience!
